Unique Uses for PVC

Creating useful items with PVC Pipe and PVC Pipe Fittings extends far beyond plumbing and Irrigation.

To make an inexpensive table or shelf for your tools take 4 lengths of pipe for the top (two sets of 2 lengths for an oblong table or shelf), 4 90 degree side outlet elbows and 4 even PVC Pipes to form the legs.

Attach the pieces using PVC Pipe Cement. See the picture below to see how it might look. Be sure to measure carefully to ensure that the table will come out square and level.

Bird feeder. Wildlife Feeder. Whatever you call it, this is a pretty simple project that you can use to attract birds and small animals to your home or garden.

Attach a Y joint to one end of a 4" PVC Pipe about 3 feet in length. On the other end, attach an end cap to seal it off from the elements. Attach an end cap to the bottom of the Y joint to seal off the pipe completely. Using a threaded end cap will allow for access later to refill the feeder.
